The Yuvad CES3000M mobile encoder is part of the Yuvad video encoding/transcoding solution family for supporting advanced mobile video services. The CES3000M supports 3GPP, 3GPP2, CMMB, WIFI, WiMAX, and future mobile broadcast and streaming services. The solution can also be used to support video surveillance, video conferencing, and time-shifting applications. The CES3000M can support multiple concurrent compressed streams at different resolutions and formats with support for most popular mobile devices. The CES3000M not only supports advanced video features, but also provides breakthrough advertising capabilities that enable service providers to capture advertising revenue directly from their mobile ser;vices. CES3000M is optimized for advertising over mobile devices and takes advantage of the mobile user profiles. With its fully programmable feature sets, the CES3000M is future-proof for mobile service providers in offering new services; capturing new revenue opportunities and supporting new formats, protocols, and standards. The CES3000M is designed from the ground up to be fault-tolerant for constant operations and automatic failover capabilities. Multiple channels, resolutions, formats, and protocols can be supported from a single system node. When the need for fault-tolerance arises, multiple nodes can be configured together to form a highly redundant service cluster. Constant operation, run-time services, upgrades, and hardware replacements can be performed with the CES3000M clusters.

Video Quality The CES3000M incorporates advanced Yuvad patent-pending video compression algorithms (SuperSqueezer™). As a result, best video quality can be achieved at the lowest bit rate. The CES3000M can support program bit rates from 200Kbps to 2Mbps, with resolutions for mobile device screens up to standard TV resolutions. Each CES3000M can simultaneously encode up to sixteen individual programs. CES3000M can also operate as a node in the redundancy cluster – the Yuvad I-Cluster™ to support hundreds of channels.
Simple management The CES3000M can be managed from a simple web browser. Multiple CES3000M nodes can be managed from a single web interface. This reduces the need for operators to use complicated network management tools in order to deploy a large number of channels.
New services, local advertising The CES3000M revolutionary feature sets support fully integrated advertising capabilities for ad replacement, precision targeted text, graphics, and other individualized delivery features. With the CES3000M solution, customers have the flexibility to incrementally deploy systems as the number of video channels increases. For example, the customer may initially install a single CES3000M system for a few channels of encoding, and then later add more nodes for more channels and service features. The customer can also configure all of the deployed CES3000M nodes together to form the I-Cluster™ for maximum service reliability while guaranteeing simple management.
