Digital Program Insertion (ad splicing)

Ad insertion features can be enabled on the YUVISION CES series encoder & transcoder . Existing DPI solutions on the market requires the integration of several components which include encoders, local ad servers and splicers. Both ad servers and splicer systems are special-purpose and expensive hardware. Such a solution requires integration of multiple hardware components from different vendors, and increases the overall deployment cost.YUVISION CES series encoder & transcoder can  be upgraded to include all of the DPI functionalities. With the advanced digital splicing technology – the Yuvad Supersplicer™ technology, it is possible to provide seamless and frame-accurate splicing of local video advertisement into network programming content. No additional ad server and splicer are needed. Significant cost saving can be achieved from a single system, and more importantly, operation and maintainance can be greatly simplified.
