CES3000TC Multi-Channel MPEG-2 SD overlay System
The Yuvad CES Overlay product family consists of the encoding/transcoding solution with text and graphic image overlaying capability. The CES Overlay solution can be used for offering local overlay of text and graphic information in digital video data streams.Such capability can be used for local advertising, local and/or emergency announcement, station logo cover, local graphic displays.
Digital Overlay
The CES Overlay solution integrates video encoding with powerful digital overlay processing capabilities. The system accepts MPEG-2 TS input and supports output in either MPEG-2 TS or H.264 format in standard definition. The CES Overlay platform is the first solution in the market that fully integrates encoding with advanced digital overlay processing. With the CES Overlay solution, it is possible to embed text and graphic images into compressed video data streams directly in digital domain. Furthermore, the system can be programmed to embed overlay dynamically according to pre-set schedules. The overlay feature can be configured to support static or moving text or graphics, different text font sizes, colors, transparency levels and to support animated graphics. All of the necessary configuration and management tasks can be performed on any computer with a web browser connected to the CES Overlay system. Video Quality
The CES Overlay products incorporate advanced Yuvad patent-pending video compression algorithms (SuperSqueezer?). As a result, best video quality at the lowest bit rate can be achieved. In addition, because all overlay processing is performed in digital domain, there is no loss in video quality due to A/D and D/A conversions. Local Advertising and Information
The CES Overlay solution is ideal for providing advertising and information services over digital video programs. With the CES Overlay solution, different local operators can display different local text and graphics over video programs originated elsewhere.
