YUVAD CES3000T MPEG-2 to H.264 transcoder is
anadvanced video encoding/transcoding solution
for converting MPEG-2 video programs into H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC) format. The CES3000T's
broadcast-quality H.264 video use half as much bandwidth as equal quality MPEG-2 video. Now, with the CES3000T, pristine broadcast-quality video may be offered at the lowest bit rates ever. With the CES3000T solution, it is possible to offer pristine broadcast quality video content at low bit rates for movie and sport content. The solution can be deployed for IPTV services, enterprise video, digital cable, and over-the-air broadcast services. In addition, the solution can also be deployed for video surveillance, VOD, video
conferencing, and distance learning applications.

Video Quality
The CES3000T incorporates the SuperSqueezer™ an advanced series of breakthrough Yuvad patent-pending video compression algorithms. Consequently, higher quality videos may be achieved at the lowest bit rates ever. For DVD quality video, the CES3000T encoder node can reduce the compression bandwidth down to 1.5mbps-2mbps without noticeable quality degradation. Each encoder operates as a node in the redundancy encoding cluster - the Yuvad I-Cluster™ and can process up to four individual MPEG-2 programs simultaneously.

More channels, less rack space
Each CES3000T can process up to four channels of video programs. Multiple CES3000T 's can be used together to trancode tens of channels. For example, only 10U rack space is needed to support 40 channels of encoding processing.

Simple management
The CES3000T encoder can be managed from a simple web browser and multiple nodes are managable from a single web interface. Operators are no longer required to use complicated network management tools for the large number of channels deployed.

New services, local advertising
CES3000T is field upgradeable and programmable to support more advanced services, such as video splicing, graphic/text overlay, targeted video advertising,and video content based advertising (video
fingerprint). With the CES3000T solution, customers have the flexibility to incrementally deploy systems as the number of video channels increases. For example, the customer may initially install a single ES3000T system for up to four channels of encoding, and then at a later time add more CES3000T nodes for more channels. The customer can also configure all of the deployed CES3000T nodes together to form the I-Cluster™for maximum service reliability and simple management.
