CES3000H MPEG-2/H.264 HD digital encoder/transcoder  The Yuvad CES3000H encoder is part of the Yuvad video encoding solution family for supporting advanced high definition video services. The solution can also be used to support digital cable and terrestrial digital video services, video conferencing and internet based video surveillance, video conferencing, and time-shifting applications. The CES3000H encodes from analog, digital or compressed input video in multi-resolution, multi-standard, multi-service and multi-channel outputs. It also encodes input video into MPEG-2 or H.264 in HD formats. In addition, the system supports encoding of multiple SD video programs in H.264 formats. Significant bandwidth efficiency is achieved when CES3000H is used to encode video in CBR or VBR bit rate profiles. Fault Tolerance and Scalability
The Yuvad I-Cluster™ breakthrough architecture is the first-of-its-kind in fault-tolerant multichannel encoding without the use of dedicated video switching fabrics. Multiple nodes can be configured together to form a highly redundant encoding cluster. Constant operation, run-time services, upgrades, and hardware replacements can be performed. Flexibilities exist to incrementally deploy systems as the number of video channels increases. The architecture supports the deployment of a single system to multiple systems, supporting encoding from a single channel to hundreds of channels with the use of the I-Cluster™. In addition, the CES3000T can be configured to support multiple screens: mobile, PC, SD, HD for maximum service flexibility. For example, a single HD input video can be transcoded into formats suitable for displays on mobile devices, set-top boxes, and HD TV sets – all from the output of the same CES3000 system.
